Hello! Thank you for taking a look at our Rabbitry! We have been breeding since April 2019! We started with a pair of breeding Holland Lops (a sable magpie & a sliver martain) our herd slowly grow from there we now breed Lionheads , Velveteens , Neverland Dwarfs , & of course Holland Lops.

***Since I have no clue what a rabbit eats , what is done , or what living conditions are once a rabbit has left my care I do no offer refunds.
I , Samantha Hancock of Wonderful Joys Rabbitry certify all rabbits are at least 8 weeks or older at time of sale. All rabbits are to the best of my knowledge in good health. I am not responsible for any mishandling or improper care of the rabbit once it has left my rabbitry. All of our rabbits come with transition feed , follow our care sheet to learn how to transition the feed to the new feed of your choice. I do allow transport , however whoever picks up the rabbit is responsible for signing my contract. I do not provide a carrier for your rabbit please bring your own I also do not guarantee breeding or show results. Genders are also not guaranteed , I’m human and can make mistakes. Please check over your rabbit before leaving with it. I also have the right to cancel or refuse sale for any reason , if for some reason I do your deposit and any money put toward the rabbit will be refunded. Also please note I’m always here for any questions or concerns you have regarding your rabbit. If for some reason you are no longer able to keep your rabbit I will take it back and find it a home. Also please do your research rabbits are a big responsibility they need lots of care and many different items they can get expensive please make sure you are able to provide for your new friend.

Bunny Care Sheet
Thank you for choosing Wonderful Joys Rabbitry. We appreciate your business and want to insure you and your Holland lop , Velveteen Lop , lionhead , neverland dwarf . Or mixed bun have many “hoppy” years together!!! Listed below are a few facts and recommendations for your new furry friend.
Outdoor Housing:
- We recommend your hutch to be in a well shaded area
- Proper leak proof roofing to keep your bunny dry
- Wire bottom are the most sanitary for bunnies , I recommend you put a rest mat on the wire but you choose the cage to your liken
- On warmer days I recommend you put a frozen water bottle in the cage (temperatures over 85)
- Housing should be free of drafts in freezing weather
IndoorHousing :
- Keep in mind my Rabbitry is outside , if you plan to bring your bunny inside to cooler temperatures you should transition your bunny , the drastic climate change can shock your bunny and be fatal
- Be careful of all cords and wires
- I recommend pelletized bedding , I use Tractor Supply Brand
Important Bunny Facts
- Bunnies CANNOT get wet it will kill them
- Bunnies diet should be 80% hay
- Bunnies should always have have fresh water available
- Bunnies drink more water out of water bowls but I recommend to have both
- Veggies are important in their diet but you should not give them to many of them I recommend celery , lettuce , potatoes , carrots , and etc
Bonding with your new furry friend
- When bonding with your new furry friend somethings to keep in mind are that they will be scared & nervous at first this is because they are in a new area with new people
- Let your rabbit get use to your smell leave a old shirt in there with it , let it smell your hand , let it roam around your house with you
- Give them treats ( hold the treat away from them so they have to come to you and when they finally come give them the treat)
- Lay on the floor with your bun & let them explore , jump on you (don’t touch them when doing this for the first couple days but after around a week of doing these start offering treats & start petting them)
- Give the bonding process time it may take up to a year or longer for them to full trust you & bond to you
Veggies Bunnies Can Have(please do not give your bun veggies if they are under 6 months of age)
- Leaf veggies (Parsley , Mustard Greens , Celery Leaves)
- Carrots (small amounts)
- Radish Tops
- Celery
- Zucchini
- Cilantro
- Parsley
- Spinach
- Basil
- Kale
- Chicory
- Spring Greens
- Wheat Greens
- Chard
Before you feed your new furry friend veggies I recommend google good veggies to feed them. Make sure everything you feed them is safe for them to eat. Some treats I recommend you feed them is bANNAS , carrots , dried fruits , and hay cubes.
*Note:Do Not feed iceberg lettuce it is deadly for rabbits*
How to transition you’re bunnies food
- The first day or 2 just give them the food I sent home with you
- After that slowly start mixing you’re food into the food I sent home with the bunny
Put more & more of you’re food into their food each day until you complete start using you’re food
I recommend using a cat water for water because they drink lots of water daily and studies show they drink more out of bowl
Litter training
- To start the litter training process I recommend using a cat litter box so you’re bunny has enough room to do it’s business
- Find a couple of their poop and put it in their litter box
- I recommend have pine pellets in you’re litter box and hay rabbits love to eat while they do their business
- It shouldn’t take them long to get the hang of going to the bathroom in the litter box
